This masterclass course will provide all the steps necessary to create a top tier elite level combo attack animation utilizing Autodesk Maya and the Unreal Game Engine.

We will cover the following core skill sets:

  • We will cover the planning process for combat attack animation for games
  • Include single attack weapon based animations
  • Keyframe animation best practices
  • Combo attack animation loops
  • How to utilize motion capture
  • How to efficiently and quickly retime animation
  • How to create a 3 hit combo attack animation putting everything we learn in the course together
  • How to create animations that work with your current idle animations, base animations, and even how to customize poses to create even more flexibility to suit your needs
  • Lastly we will cover the export process to game engines such as Unity and Unreal

We’ll be utilizing the latest software packages that top tier gaming studios of today use to create all of your favorite titles!  The software packages that we’ll be covering are:

  • Autodesk Maya 
  • Epic’s Animation Rigging Tools
  • Unreal Game Engine


This course will also include all of the rigs necessary to animate and follow along in the course.
